Description
Building Your LPN Pipeline Through the MA Career Ladder Program
Session Description
As demand for home care services continues to grow, it is critical that agencies have the staff necessary to meet the care needs of older adults. This session introduces the MA Career Ladder Program (CLP)—a state-funded initiative designed to upskill home health aides and certified nursing assistants to licensed practical nurses (LPN) while reducing the financial and logistical barriers that often prevent employees from advancing. Attendees will learn how the program supports both employees and employers through tuition coverage, income replacement, exam preparation, and one-on-one coaching. Home care agencies will gain insights into how sponsoring employees for the CLP can provide a competitive edge, improve recruitment, retention, and quality of care while ensuring you have a pipeline of new LPNs for your organization.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand the Benefits of MA Career Ladder Program – its funding, structure, benefits for employees, and the supports available to participating agencies.
- Identify eligibility criteria for employee participation, including academic and admission requirements for LPN programs.
- Learn how to become a Company sponsor and how to fold the CLP into your employee benefits
